What is Brunette?

Brunette is a Montreal-based online retailer of restaurant products that are otherwise only accessible on location. We’ve got a list of awesome independently owned brands that grows every single day. From condiments to spreads, to sauces and seasonings – not to mention apparel, merch, and books. We work the same as any other online store; just put your items into the cart and check ‘em out when you’re ready!

What part does Brunette play in supporting independently owned restaurants?

A percentage of product sales goes back to the restaurants on a monthly basis. Brunette has become an additional revenue stream for a lot of the brands. We always try our best to go above and beyond in showing our support. After partnering with the MRWRF in the past & seeing what amazing things they’ve done for service workers, we recently partnered with the CRWC. What are your shipping policies?

Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes, and that Brunette reserves the right to refuse to ship your order & refund it.


Do you ship outside of Canada?

Yep! In this case, the delivery cost will be calculated at checkout. Depending on the option that you choose, your delivery might not have a tracking number. International orders can be subject to taxes and customs duties, which will not be covered by Brunette. They’re put in place by your government and are separate from delivery charges. The delivery of packages may be delayed while they pass through customs, which unfortunately is beyond our control.


My package was lost or damaged upon delivery. What do I do? 

Once the goods have been shipped, you have accepted that Brunette isn’t responsible for any direct or indirect damage done by any of the services we’ve provided. While we don’t assume responsibility for lost or damaged packages because all items are purchased at your own risk, the good news is that any damage caused by the shipment can be taken care of by you with the delivery company. 


Can I make a reservation at any of the restaurants featured on Brunette via this website?

Unfortunately, we can’t reserve a table for any of our customers at the featured restaurants on our site. All restaurants have to be contacted directly.


What is Sezzle?

Sezzle is a buy-now-pay-later payment solution with NO interest! When you use Sezzle for your order you pay 25% of your order up-front, and the remaining amount is spread out over 3 equal instalments over the next 6 weeks. A fee will only be charged to you by Sezzle if a payment fails or you need to postpone your payments more than once per order. Sezzle will perform a "soft check" to prevent fraud and verify your identity, but your Sezzle usage does not currently get reported to any credit bureaus, meaning it will not affect your credit score! 


Is there a minimum order amount to use Sezzle?

No, there is no minimum order amount to pay with Sezzle.


Can I return or exchange an order I made with Sezzle?

You sure can. The process to return or exchange your order is exactly the same as any other purchase made at Brunette. If you return part or all of your order, the instalments will be adjusted by Sezzle and you’ll be refunded for what you have already paid.


There's an issue with my Sezzle payment.

What’s your return policy?

You can return full-price items within 10 days of delivery! The refund (excluding delivery costs) will be made upon receipt of the returned goods in the same condition as at the time of the sale (unused, in its original packaging). For your protection, we suggest that you return the goods by registered mail. 

Apparel and accessories can also be exchanged within 10 days of delivery for items of equal value. The customer does have to return the item to Brunette HQ at their own cost. Upon receiving the returned goods in the same condition as at the time of the sale (unused, in its original packaging), it will be refunded (excluding delivery costs) and the customer will be invoiced for the new item! 


Do you cover return delivery costs?

The customer does have to cover shipping costs if the product is not defective or damaged by Brunette.
